It's possible to stack up to eight switches with 80 Gbps bandwidth, if you add the optional Cisco FlexStack+ module. Use Power over Ethernet and Power over Ethernet+ support up to 740 Watt, without adding extra power sources.
Smart management with software-defined networking (SDN)
The switch is built for network programmability, which makes it ready for software-defined networking (SDN). With network programmability and the controller, you can set up your network the way you want it, without hardware limitations.
