42U Rack Cabinet Accommodates Equipment Used in Harsh Environments
This SmartRack® industrial rack enclosure is designed to protect sensitive equipment used in tough conditions that could overwhelm a typical cabinet. Ideal for locations like factories, construction areas, warehouses, processing plants, power stations, transport hubs and shipping facilities, the SR42UBEISHV protects your rack equipment against falling dirt, dust, drips, splashes and other debris that can cause damage.
High-Voltage Fans Keep Cool Air Flowing
Twelve high-voltage, high-performance 230V fans in the front door create positive air pressure within the rack, preventing dust from penetrating. In addition to the fans, the front door also contains built-in standard-sized air filters (these furnace filters are replaceable and can be purchased at any hardware store).
Protects Against Heavy Vibrations Caused by Machinery and Vehicles
This cabinet has a maximum stationary load capacity of 3500 pounds (1588 kilograms) and a maximum rolling load capacity of 3000 pounds (1361 kilograms). Large industrial casters also support up to 3000 pounds, so you can install all equipment in a clean environment and roll the enclosure to its permanent "dirty" location with the equipment already protected. Levelers let you compensate for minor floor variations and ensure a stable footing.
Keeps Rack Equipment Protected
The doors and removable side panels lock securely with the included keys to help prevent damage, tampering or theft. They also are designed for quick release, making it simple to access connected equipment and cabling with little effort. The ventilated front and rear doors allow generous airflow from front to rear to help keep your equipment cool and functioning at its peak. Strategically placed pass-throughs in the roof, below the rear door and in the floor panel allow cable access to equipment. Sealing gaskets around the door frames and a cap on top of the enclosure also keep debris away from equipment.
Easy Enclosure and Equipment Installation
This 42U server rack comes fully assembled for quick deployment. Toolless 0U mounting rails allow quick installation of compatible PDUs and vertical cable managers. Built-in baying brackets allow the combination of two or more rack cabinets in a row.
